House Of Kids Comes To The Fillmore
New York at Irving Plaza This Fall
NEW YORK — Live Nation, along with Parents Magazine, is thrilled to announce the launch of House Of Kids, a series of musical and multimedia family events at The Fillmore New York at Irving Plaza this fall and winter. House Of Kids is aimed at bringing parents and kids together through a shared appreciation of live music, as well as fun and educationally enriching activities. Each House Of Kids event will feature a leading kids’ music group as its headliner, including Justin Roberts & The Not Ready For Naptime Trio (October 17), Father Goose (November 14), The Sippy Cups (December 5) and Gustafer Yellowgold (January 9). All four dates will also feature performers from the world-renowned Big Apple Circus, including loveable star Grandma the Clown, along with guest storytellers, child performers, musical instrument raffles and much more.
Tickets are $20.00 (kids under age 2 free), or $70.00 for all four events, and go on sale at www.LiveNation.com on Saturday, September 12, at 10:00 AM eastern time.
House Of Kids was created by Kevin Morrow, president of Live Nation New York, and Marty Diamond, head of Paradigm Talent Agency’s New York music department as a way of introducing an all new kind of Saturday morning entertainment to the next generation of concert goers and their parents: a musical series that showcases the best in children’s entertainment.
“This project has been in the making for three years,” says Morrow. “There are so few live music experiences that cater to the whole family. Live Nation is pleased to announce an all-new adventure designed to bring the joy of music to kids and their parents in a unique setting.” Adds Diamond, “House Of Kids will be tons of fun and rock your kids’ socks off.”
